See you at Kohala Kamehameha Day Ho’olaule’a

We are excited to announce you that the Bid Island Abalone is participating in Kohala Kamehameha Day, Ho’olaule’a on June 11th.

Kamehameha Day was established in 1872 by King Kamehameha V, the great-grandchild of Kamehameha, as a national holiday to honor the memory of Kamehameha.

Since 1901, it has been a tradition to drape leis (Hawaiian floral garlands) from the statues of the King on the islands.

We Big Island Abalone are so honored to be a food vendor for such a memorial day in Kohala, motherland of the King. See you there!

June 11th, 2023. Booth open at 9:00am.

54-3887 ‘Akoni Pule Hwy, Kapaau, HI 96755
